Our Aims and Values

The school community has identified the following aims and values in St Mary’s Primary School:


In order to equip the children to function successfully, now and in later life, in their home town or further afield, the staff of St. Mary’s Primary we aim to:

1. provide a happy, safe and welcoming environment where each member of our school community feels valued and respected.

2. provide the highest quality learning experiences which support and enhance each child’s potential for success and life-long learning.

3. develop as a community of faith, through the promotion of Christian values, celebration and worship, and service to others.

Our agreed values are:

• Honesty
• Tolerance
• Faith

Our aims and values were reviewed last session, in order to ensure that they remain
central to the work of our school community.
